Description

A brown-throated, three-toed sloth (Bradypus variegatus) which my friends and I caught in the jungle in Northern Guyana (near Venezuela) by cutting down the tree it hung from with our machetes. We kept it as a pet for a while whilst we debated whether or not to curry it. It escaped from our boat one day whilst we were pretending to be pirates in the swamp.
