Before and After The Headshave by Temujinsword Before and After The Headshave by Temujinsword
Before and After of my Sponsored Headshave, done to raise funds for my year teaching in Malaysia with Project Trust.

I have a bucket on my head. Your argument is invalid

I've wanted to do that but my mother does not want me to... But at least I have short hair...:(

Bad luck :L Mine didn't mind, because it was for charity. In fact it was my mum that suggested it (as a joke). Short hair is best ^^

It is so much easier to take care of! I used to have long hair up to my chest, it took so long to dry. Even middle length hair took over two hours!

Same, my hair used to reach half way down my back, but I've slowly been decreasing it until I eventually had none xD Literally, I just have to fall out of bed, put on clothes, brush my teeth, then I'm ready for the day. It's great!

It's especially great if you don't use hair products. I wash my hair using the water only method and it's a lot easier having short hair :). Don't worry, my hair is clean and doesn't smell nasty! I've actually thought about growing my hair super long but I got tired of having to do so much to maintain it! It's also good since I'm going to China! Oh that also means that I might not be able to reply to your messages, seeing that China blocks a lot of websites and I don't know whether they block dA... Nonetheless, it was nice talking...er typing with you? I actually want us to continue this! Maybe we can be penpals? Either way i'm going to watch you! Have a great summer!

I sometimes don't use shampoo, but I find it stays clean for longer if you do (does with me anyway) and I'm sometimes in places where showers are hard to access, so its best to make it last as long as possible!

You're going to China?! Awesome! When? What are you doing? ... ahhh so many questions!

I'm of to Guyana (South America) in a few months time, we could maybe exchange addresses for where we're going? I don't even know if I'm allowed to ask that ... but anyway, it'd be awesome to have an actual pen pal!

For me, my hair gets even oilier when I shampoo it. So I just do that maybe once every two months or so...

China was fun yet boring at the same time... I didn't have any wi-fi or computer access, hence the very late reply. I went to visit my birthplace and relatives.I also went to my (maternal) grandfather's hometown. We spent one and a half day and one night there in a five star golf course hotel which was amazing! But I also got an allergic reaction to the mosquito poison there- the bite got so swollen, it was the size of a cookie! And well I just went shopping etc. Well one of the best things there are the food! The produce is so fresh!

Guyana seems interesting. I've never heard of it until now though...However I would love to visit it someday!

I'm not too keen on sharing very personal information like address etc. And as for the pen pal situation, I was hoping to be pen pals over the internet so I guess I should call you my internet pal instead :P!

Well, I'm glad you partially enjoyed China! It does sound amazing :D I dont think I've ever stayed in 5-star accommodation ... but I bet it was better than the places I usually stay in (bunk beds).

Chinese food is delicious, but I've never had it properly fresh before ... I'm rather envious!!

Guyana seems amazing. I'll be leaving soon, and the few pictures I've seen are just stunning :)

That's no problem :) It was a pretty stupid suggestion of mine anyway! I dont have internet connection in the village in Guyana, but I'll reply when I can get into the flat in the capital :D
